The Birth Comb can be used as a distraction technique during labour and can help you focus on your breathing as it presses on the acupressure points in your hand.

When you have a contraction, you can squeeze it in your hand and slowly release as the contraction eases.

The birth comb is portable, waterproof and used in conjunction with pain relief methods.

Using the birth comb on your LI4 point should only be done after 37 weeks as it may naturally induce labour.

How does the hire work?

  • Book your hire - The date you select is the date we ship it out to you or have it ready for pick up
  • We ship your product to you or we have local pick up in Caringbah, NSW
  • You familiarise yourself with the unit (with our helpful videos)
  • Once your hire period ends, simply return it by post or return to where you picked up from
  • Need more time? Just let us know we offer weekly extensions (subject to availability)
